Catherine works with teams to optimize their performance by leveraging and creating synergy from team members’ different skill sets. To determine team member fit, Catherine conducts in-depth interviews with each individual team member to gain a 360-degree perspective of the team’s strengths and development needs. Then Catherine and the team discuss the feedback data and collaboratively craft a Team Development Plan (TDP) to build on its strengths and “fill the gaps.”
Catherine also conducts team-building workshops to help teams achieve better communication and greater cooperation. In today’s business environment where cross-functional and multinational teams are commonplace, it is even more important to ensure that team members are synergizing their complementary skills to optimize performance.
In addition to more regular team development projects, Catherine had led multicultural and multi-functional teams during three international conferences. Each conference was attended by more than 150 attendees from a multitude of countries. Catherine coached team members to use their interpersonal skills and used objective data to influence and collaborate with the boards of different international professional associations, site administrators, and vendors.
